I assume that the appearance of your avatar, you are a woman. If I'm right, then I would say for a wedding, if you must wear a dress or a pantsuit, elegant woman, if not wear clothes. The attention of all, the bride, not you, but if you should be something that would really be an exceptional (and a wife of a man in suit), part of your care, and not good. If I'm wrong, your gender, then a black linen suit is entirely appropriate.
